Another silly warmup sketch because I want to be a good painter someday. Somebody mentioned ArtRage which I'm totally going to purchase but I'm using photoshop right now.
I really like it. I like hot summer and what things feel like in the shade in paintings, but I don't understand the red light streaks. This piece also feels a little on the cooler side even though you have some nice warm hues on the right.
Awesome work. I wonder what you're using for that canvas look?
I rike it I rove it. Though I do wish the texture was a little less uniform, not necessarily in it's pattern but in that it's uniform in areas that may have more or less paint if it were traditional. Uhh uhhhhh that makes no sense does it?
To be a painter, you don't need much in the way of software! I have a friend who uses Paint! (http://florianschneider.com/) Now and then he'll use another software, it's meant for kids to have fun with, I forget the name. Barely paid anything for them, and he's doing really well in the art world over there in Europe!

Yeah, it was me... This texture and the way the brushstrokes are done made think of ArtRage... I´m in love with this program right now...
Love this one as well! Gonna try some studies based on your recent pieces someday. They are very interesting!

I like the texture overlay you are using for these. It gives them a water color/gauche-like feel.
That you call this a silly warm up sketch pisses me off. You're an awesome artist. I wish I could draw a stick figure!
