Little color doodles from the last couple of days. Think of it as a sketch page of little doodles only in color and digital. And by the way, he was killed in the billiards room with the candelabra ... still working on who did it. Or maybe it was in the lounge with the rope? Shoot ...
Oh, by the way, on doodles like these I'm focusing on the 'broad strokes' as one of my bosses says, ie composition and light/value/color. If anybody checking these out has any suggestions in this department please help me. My broad strokes are clumsy. Pretty please help.

Mmm - those are wholesome good b. I love the middle image - and the bottom left and bottom right ones. Actually I love all of them . . . curse you. . .
They look so cool because they all suggest a story within one image. They spell enough out to give the viewer enough information for them to make their own story. So good.
I weep at your greatness.
Whatever. There's nothing even close to great about these. There's a salting of 'good' here and there on top of a bunch of crap but I'll keep working on these problems. At least the crap decisions give me a road marker to move on from, know what I mean?
You're saying what I esteem as greatness is a bunch of crap to you . . .
Message received Hethe . . . Message received.
Blimey ...
you're a punk B.
^__^
These look like awesome colour keys!!! great job man. Happy new years!!!
Hah! "Message received Hethe..."
I guess I'm getting the same message. I gotta see a little demo of how you do these some time. Awesomeness.
color greatness! I love these.
Very nice Hethe! Very beautiful.
May I ask what program u are using for these type of color sketches? Painter? Photoshop? And if I am not being too nosey what kind of brushes?
When I first saw these I laughed. Not a bad laugh, mind you. These images make me giddy. The conveyance of mood and action is great, especially the middle three - they leave me wondering with excitement
"What happens next?!"
Sorry for the delay in response but as you can see from my newer post I've been MIA. Thanks again guys.
Frak, I use photoshop and as for what type of brushes that's not an easy thing to explain. I use all kinds of brushes and fiddle with the brush engine a lot. I don't use a basic photoshop round much if that helps. I make and use brushes that give me texture.
